Traineeships

You’ll start by learning about the structure and content of your traineeship, the location and key processes. Of course you’ll also get to know your team and your fellow trainees. You’ll discover what sets us apart as a digital healthcare provider, what purpose drives us and how you can actively contribute to our mission.

Take on a project of your choice that adds real value to Thieme and drive it independently. All projects are designed to be cross-departmental, giving you the opportunity to work cross-functionally and gain extensive experience within the company. Internal experts will be available to support you throughout.

The main focus of your traineeship is learning on the job. You’ll gain knowledge directly through the projects and tasks you work on, and you’ll take on responsibility from the very start. Your managers and colleagues will support you with guidance, constructive feedback and mentoring.

Our seminars provide important insights into our departments, projects and areas of responsibility – such as Open Access, project management, or AI – helping you build a well-rounded, interdisciplinary foundation. Our Editorial Skills seminars prepare you for all types of editorial and journalistic tasks.
