In the Institutional Sales division at the Stuttgart location, you will gain a wide range of insights and have the opportunity to try your hand at exciting and challenging activities. Depending on your personal preferences, you can focus on sales and marketing, project and process management or on the conception and design of sales-promoting explanatory videos and tutorials. During your six-month internship at the Stuttgart location, you will work in a dedicated team not only for the German-speaking market, but will also gain insights into international projects that are implemented together with colleagues at the New York and Delhi locations.

Are you passionate about analog and digital media?

Are you studying media publishing, printing technology, book science or a similar course of study and looking for an exciting internship? Are you interested in content processing and media design? Would you like to not just get an overview of this varied production field, but also want to actively be involved in the work and make a contribution to the digitalization of the healthcare sector? Then Thieme is just right for you!

As in the Production Management division at the Stuttgart location, you will gain a wide range of insights into a digital health service provider’s production processes during your six-month compulsory internship. You will independently supervise and organize the production of sophisticatedly designed guidebooks and the production of high-quality trade journals in the censhare editorial system – from the receipt of manuscripts, layout and printing to further processing in ePubs, databases and apps. In doing so, you will learn how to work with XML and InDesign and how to use the IT programs commonly used in the industry, such as censhare, SAP and Klopotek.

You will work in a motivated team that supports you at all times and shares its expertise with you.

Do you have your bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, marketing or a comparable course of study in your pocket and would you like to start a career in sales? Is it important to you to work in a forward-looking industry? Then Thieme is just right for you!

As the international company offers analog and digital products and services that contribute to improving health and healthcare. The two-year trainee program at the Stuttgart location prepares you optimally for your career as a sales manager for e-products in the field. You will get to know and apply different customer acquisition strategies and convincing customer communication in different sales contexts.

Depending on your personal interests, you can choose between two specialisms: In the Institutional Sales division, the focus is on the sale of our digital products to B2B customers such as hospitals or medical schools. The E-Sales division focuses on direct marketing to B2C customers such as medical students, doctors and therapists.

As a trainee you will be actively involved in a success-oriented team and will already be taking on international projects independently. You will also take part in relevant training courses at the Thieme Academy and will be coached individually and intensively by your manager.

Have you studied natural sciences, economics, media or humanities and already gained some experience in the fields of journalism or public relations?

In the Communications division at the Stuttgart and Berlin locations, you will learn the tools for successful communication – from dealing with classic and social media, PR concept design and storytelling to text work, podcast and video production. Depending on your personal interests, you will specialize in strategic corporate communications or science communications, which the Communications division also provides for external clients such as medical and scientific societies or associations. During your 18-month volunteering you will actively work in a committed team and already be taking on your own projects. As part of the Thieme Volo curriculum, you will gain a wide range of insights into the company and learn the necessary editorial and journalistic tools in the internal writing workshop.

Have you studied medicine or natural sciences, economics, media or humanities and have the first or second state examination, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in your pocket? As a volunteer in the Editorial/Project Management division, you will learn how to prepare and make relevant medical information available in such a way that it provides the best possible support for stakeholders in medicine and health – during their training, specialist training and advanced training as well as in their everyday work.

During your 18-month volunteering in a Program division at the Stuttgart location or at the Centrum für Reisemedizin in Düsseldorf you will actively work in a committed team and already be taking on your own projects. As part of the Thieme Volo curriculum, you will gain a wide range of insights into the company and learn the necessary editorial and journalistic tools in the internal writing workshop.
