During the three-year training at the Erlangen location, you will learn from the bottom up how to deal with customers professionally: How to win them over, how to look after them and thus retain them in the long term. You design offers and learn how contracts are concluded. In addition, you plan and support marketing campaigns, congress and trade fair appearances with colleagues.

Your colleagues will impart the relevant knowledge to you in teaching sessions and “by doing”. Are you passionate about shapes, colors and visual effects?

Drawing, photographing and making little films are among your favorite activities. But you also find it exciting to work on the computer, design websites and apps, animations and other moving image formats? Are you creative, sparkling with ideas, and brimming with commitment and initiative? Then training to be a media design assistant for digital and print media at Thieme is the right thing for you! During the three-year training at the Stuttgart location, you will learn how digital and printed information offers and advertising material are designed. Here you can choose to specialize in “Concept Design and Visualization” or “Design and Technology”.

In the “Design and Technology” specialism you coordinate the processes in graphic production. You work closely with external graphic designers and service providers in the Medical Illustration Animation service division. The primary aim is to present complex medical issues in a clear and understandable way. The range covers figurative representations and schematic drawings to complex diagrams. You also learn how to produce 3D animation and videos during your training.

In the “Concept Design and Visualization” specialism, which is part of the Design service division, you plan advertising campaigns in close cooperation with Marketing and implement them in terms of design. Fresh ideas are always called for: In addition to classic print ads, inserts and online advertising media, this also includes giveaways, for example. When planning, you must always bear the target group, the customer’s wishes and the budget in mind.

You don’t just want to do “something with media”, but to actively shape the digital future? Are you interested in business management, are you creative and love working in a team?

Then Thieme is just right for you! During the three-year training to be a media assistant at the Stuttgart location, you will get to know a digital health service provider’s different areas and fields of activity. You will be involved when the program divisions and production management prepare specialist medical information in such a way that it can be made available to a wide audience – in books, magazines and innovative digital products and services. In the Marketing, Communications and Sales divisions you learn how a product is brought to market, publicized to the target group and sold. You will be actively involved and support the respective training area’s team in their daily and project-related work.
